The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-Earth II

If you’re a fan of the Lord of the Rings movies, then you just have to get this game. The single-player mode lets you take part in two separate campaigns, each with its own unique story that should keep you playing over and over again.

The first campaign lets you side with the good boys; Aaron, Gandalf and the rest of the gang. Your job is to stop the forces of Sauron from destroying the world as we know it. You’ll have archers at your disposal, elves and of course, Gandalf’s trusty magical spells.

The second campaign lets you bring out your evil side as you side with Sauron’s forces as you unleash hell on everything that moves. Personally, playing with the evil campaign is a lot more fun since you don’t have to worry about anything but unleashing as much carnage as you can. Oh yeah, you get to play as Sauron too, that is if you have what it takes to unlock him.
