Divinity II: Ego Draconis

This latest role playing game from Larian Studios is ambitious, unfortunately, it falls short to the expectations set by games like Fable 2 and Dragon Age: Origins.

And people who have already played this sequel to 2002′s Divine Divinity know that Larian Studios tried oh so hard to emulate the latter.

Sure, Divinity II: Ego Draconis can really draw you in the first time you pop it in but after an hour or so, you’ll soon notice how repetitive and not to mention, glitchy, it gets.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of Divinity II: Ego Draconis is the fact that the game lets you play both as a dragon slayer and as the very dragon you detest. Yes, the player can morph from human to dragon form anytime, opening up some interesting possibilities for you to maul at your enemies.

Unfortunately, that’s the only thing going for it. When it’s all said and done, it’s just another run-of-the-mill addition to the dwindling library of games for the PC.

If you can’t wait to play Diablo 3, then I guess Divinity II: Ego Draconis can keep you occupied. Otherwise, it is best to just stay away from this game.
