Gamers looking for one of the most engrossing games ever to grace the PS3 need to look no further.
SCEA’s Heavy Rain has arguably one of the most powerful and engaging storylines ever featured in a video game. Every single decision you make will dramatically affect how the game progresses, and mind you, these ”consequences” if you will, doesn’t just have an effect on how NPCs talk to you.
The decisions you make in Heavy Rain will affect how the story in ”your” game is told. An entire ”episode” may or may not occur throughout your playthrough in Heavy Rain, depending on what you did at some point in the game. Yes, the game ”adapts” to you, giving you an immersive experience never before felt in video games.
Mind you, there is no ”right or wrong” decisions to make here, no matter what your outcome is, the game progresses in such a way that it keeps track of your decisions and then ”adapts” accordingly. But the consequences of your ”decisions” affect the story so dramatically that it could even result to some key characters in the game to… well… die.
So I’d be careful of these ”decisions” if I were you.
You play as Ethan Mars as you go look for your son who is believed to have fallen victim to the mysterious Origami Killer. How far will you go to save someone important to you? Your answer will depend on how you play Heavy Rain and trust us, you’ll be spending a lot of time playing this one.

Yes, the third installment of the God of War series has finally arrived to satisfy your hunger for some mythological ass-kicking. Kratos is back, ready to settle some unfinished business and by the way the game looks, he’s angrier than ever.
After Kratos was killed by his father Zeus at the beginning of God of War II, he has vowed vengeance since. That’s probably why Kratos has always had that mad scowl on him. In this third installment of this fantasy action adventure game, he just got a little bit angrier, if you can believe that.

Many people are so reluctant to embrace Electronic Arts’ latest masterpiece because; one, nobody likes Electronic Arts, and two, Dante’s Inferno obviously steals a lot of things the God of War franchise has established since its inception.
Dante’s Inferno follows the story of the game’s protagonist, Dante, as he steps into the nine stages of hell in hopes of salvaging his beloved Beatrice from the clutches of Lucifer himself. Dante has done a lot of evil things for his country as a crusader and it was only a matter of time before he gets to spend all eternity in hell.
Of course, all things changed when Beatrice was slain to let Lucifer recover her soul. Lucifer then led Dante to his inferno in hell where literally all hell broke loose.
Graphically, Dante’s Inferno can rival the best visuals ever seen on this generation of game consoles. Running at 60 frames per second, Dante’s Inferno looks smooth and crisp as you play as Dante, traversing through all nine stages of hell.
Dante will encounter the sins he committed when he was still a crusader for his country. Whether he gets to save his beloved Beatrice in the end is all up to you.
All of you familiar with the Street Fighter franchise shouldn’t be surprised that Capcom already has the latest spinoff to last year’s Street Fighter 4, one of the best fighting games we have on the market today.
Enter Super Street Fighter 4. The new game aims to build on the foundation laid out by last year’s very well received Street Fighter 4. Super Street Fighter 4 also follows the tradition the Street Fighter franchise has been known for and that’s making spinoffs as much as they can until their fan base can’t take it anymore and begs Capcom for a new release.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing too. The latest installment in the NBA Live series is showing a dramatic improvement from what they had last year. NBA Live 10 has better player models that can rival those of the ones we have from NBA 2K10, better gameplay and an even better presentation that captures the atmosphere of what live NBA basketball is all about.
The most interesting new feature of NBA Live 10 is the ability to play along with the current NBA season. NBA Live 10′s Dynamic DNA, in which player attributes are updated daily to reflect real-world changes, is integrated into the Season mode, allowing you to play through the real-life events with your chosen team.
This means that not only are real-world statistics carried over into your season, but injuries, trades, and every other major news story is carried over as well.

Yes, this latest iteration of Madden could be the best Madden NFL game ever made. Not only are the graphics better but EA Sports has also given the game a more TV-like feel to it.
